Considered as one of Israel’s finest percussionists, Oded Geizhals is a multi disciplinary musician who specializes in contemporary classical music and improvisation. A member of the Israel contemporary players. Winner of the competition of performing contemporary music in Tel Aviv university (2013), the American – Israel cultural foundation scholarship (2010-2015) and the Siday fellowship for musical creativity, through the Jerusalem institute of contemporary music (2017-2019).

 Oded holds two master degrees from the academy of music in Basel, Switzerland: master in percussion performance under Matthias Würsch and a specialized master in contemporary music under Mike Svoboda, Marcus Weiss and Jürg Henneberger. His main percussion teachers are Genia Meistrovsky, Tomer Yariv and Christian Deirstein.
