Lucia Kilger works as composer and sound director with a focus on interdisciplinary projects and collaboration.

Her vocational training in media design as well as her work as an video and audio technician in a different range of contexts provides a solid foundation for her artistic approach to music, electronics and mediality. She holds a Bacherlor`s degree in Musikdesign at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen and did her practical semester at EXPERIMENTALSTUDIO of Südwestrundfunk in Freiburg.

She completed her master’s degree in composition at the HfMT Cologne and her master’s degree in sound direction at the HfMDK Frankfurt as part of her scholarship at the International Ensemble Modern Academy and has composed for renowned ensembles such as Ensemble Musikfabrik, Ensemble Garage and Decoder Ensemble.
